Local media processing
FFideo processes selected media files locally on the Mac. The application does not upload media content for conversion, does not provide cloud processing, and does not include analytics or advertising in this release candidate.
FFideo reads only files the user selects and writes converted results to the chosen local destination. Diagnostic information is kept local unless the user intentionally copies or sends it to support. Diagnostics should avoid media contents and full paths unless the user explicitly chooses to include them.
Trial and local settings
FFideo stores the number of successful evaluation exports and application preferences locally. Failed, cancelled, incompatible, or discarded conversions do not consume an evaluation export.
Purchase and checkout
When the public checkout link is configured and used, FFideo purchases will use a Lemon Squeezy-hosted checkout. For those purchases, Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for the checkout transaction and processes the order and payment under its own buyer terms and privacy notice.
The information Lemon Squeezy processes depends on the checkout and payment method. Its published privacy notice covers categories including contact, billing, transaction, device, browser, network, and support information. This static site does not collect payment-card details. The final store configuration will determine which order and license details Lemon Squeezy makes available to the FFideo operator.
This site does not implement a customer account, webhook receiver, automatic license-key import, or automatic activation. FFideo must not send selected media, media filenames, or conversion history to Lemon Squeezy for checkout or licensing.
Support
If a user contacts support, the operator may process the message, contact details, purchase evidence, license information, and diagnostics the user elects to provide. Retention and deletion periods must be finalized before public launch.
Sharing, retention, and rights
The site includes no advertising or behavioral-analytics integration. Purchase information may be handled by Lemon Squeezy and its payment infrastructure; site delivery and support information may be handled by the hosting or email providers ultimately selected. The final policy must identify the operator, any additional processors, retention periods, rights-request channel, and launch jurisdictions.
Children, security, and changes
FFideo is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no software or storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Material policy changes must receive a new effective date and be published with the release.
